Do I own my website?
Yes, you absolutely own your website if you paid the site setup flat fee. If you received a promotional free website, you must commit to a minimum of 12 months of monthly maintenance service to own your website. After 12 months of continuous service, you will own your website and can take it with you to another provider if you choose.
What happens to my site if I cancel the monthly plan?
If you decide to cancel the monthly maintenance plan, your website will go offline at the end of your billing cycle—just as it would with any other hosting provider.
I can transfer the website code to you if you paid the site setup flat fee, or if you received a site setup promotion, upon payment of the $400 development fee that was initially waived. If you decide to transfer away after the first year, I will provide you with the source code at no additional cost so you can take your site wherever you'd like.
